SUMMARY
Repairs and maintains light, medium and heavy vehicles.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Four years of skilled heavy equipment or diesel bus repair experience required. Verbal and written communication skills. Emissions testing, Electrical and air conditioning services certificate desirable. Diesel mechanic test will be given. Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), with Air Brake, Passenger (P), and School Bus (S) endorsements required. A Class A learner’s permit required at time of hire. Out of state CDL must be transferred to Arizona prior to hire. Must not have accrued six points against driver’s license within the past three years. Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) medical certificate and emissions (non-diesel and diesel) testing certificate required after hire. Any equivalent combination of education or experience that meets the minimum requirements will be accepted. Lift test and FBI fingerprint background check required.
